As I sit down to write to you, I am filled with deep gratitude and affection for each of you. Every one of you has left a lasting impact on me and our Yeshiva, Zeev Hatorah. Your dedication, your growth, and your connection to the Yeshiva have all been integral in making it what it is today.

Now, I invite you to join me in a new endeavor that will help our yeshiva continue to thrive.

By becoming part of the Mesorah Society, you are not just supporting the Yeshiva – you are strengthening the family that we’ve built together. The reason we call it a society is deeply rooted in the values we uphold in the Yeshiva – values of Achrayus and responsibility. Just as in our learning, where we pass down the Mesorah from Rebbe to Talmid, so too, in a society, each member plays a crucial role in ensuring that our collective mission continues. Your involvement is a testament to the bonds we share, and it allows us to keep nurturing those who will walk through our halls in the future.

Yeshiva

Nestled in the heart of Yerushalayim, Zeev HaTorah is more than just a yeshiva; it is a living link in the sacred chain of Mesorah, the transmission of Torah from generation to generation. Zeev Hatorah proudly traces its lineage back to the Alter of Slabodka, through his illustrious Talmid Rav Hutner, to Rav Shlomo Freifeld, and ultimately to our revered Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Shmuel Brazil. This unbroken chain of Torah and values is the foundation upon which we build, inspiring our Talmidim to grow in their learning and Yiras Shomayim.

In addition to fostering deep Torah knowledge, Zeev Hatorah is dedicated to preparing our Talmidim to become well-rounded, contributing members of Klal Yisrael. We strive to instill in each Talmid the values and skills needed to lead a life of Torah, to be devoted spouses, and to positively impact their communities and the world around them.

With a commitment of $1,000 annually (or $83 per month, members of the Mesorah Society become vital builders of the yeshiva’s success. This is more than a donation – it is a declaration that you stand with us in shaping the next generation of inspired B’nei Torah and dedicated members of Klal Yisroel.

We call it the Mesorah Society because the yeshiva itself is built upon a living chain of tradition – from the Alter of Slabodka, to Rav Yitzchok Hutner, to Rav Shlomo Freifeld, and to our Rebbe, Rav Shmuel Brazil. This mesorah is not merely history; it is the heartbeat of the yeshiva, passed down from generation to generation, igniting and shaping talmidim in their avodas Hashem and love of Torah.
